Abby Peyton Laporte (APL) is an active member of the Bay Area poetry scene. She has previously published work in The Berkeley Times, Tuxedo Literary Magazine, and her debut chapbook, Bitter Elixir. APL studied Biology, Humanities, and Spanish at Dominican University of California. She graduated Cum Laude with a poetry thesis about identity exploration. APL is dedicated to helping revolutionize societal views of mental illness, body image, and spirituality through her work.
