As we read through submissions, we may fall in love with a poem or two and offer to publish them online before or after publishing the Winner Chapbook.

Submission Fee: $15.00

General Guidelines:

​

Submit in one Word file of 20-25 pages of published or unpublished poetry. The collection shouldn't be previously published as a whole.

​

Please format your submission double-spaced and include a word count. In the top header please add the title and page numbers.

 

Include a table of contents and acknowledgments page (all within the 20-25 page maximum).

​

The table of contents should have the titles of your poems and the page numbers where readers can find them.

​

The Acknowledgments page must include the list of poems that were previously published and the information about when (month and year, but at least year) and by whom they were published.

​

Include a cover sheet in your document with your name, address, and contact information (e-mail).

​

In the cover letter: Confirm that these pieces are unpublished. If your piece is published, please let us know and provide the name of the journal or magazine and the time of first publication so we can give proper credit.

The contest winner's chapbook will be published in print and electronically and promoted on our website and Facebook page. The author retains all rights to their work after publication.

If you wish, you can submit multiple times in separate submissions.

​

Simultaneous submissions are allowed on the individual poems, but please notify us if any of the unpublished poems were accepted elsewhere and provide us with the information.
