until we have a sufficient amount of submissions that are worthy of inclusion into our Anthology. We always go for quality and not quantity. If we pick your work, rest assured, you'll be within a special, talented group whose work is not something to glance over, but to be read over and over again.

 

We can close this open call at any time, so submit early.

* As we read through submissions, we may fall in love with a piece and offer to publish it online before or after  publishing the print Anthology.

** If there aren't enough exceptional works to fill the anthology for the current year, we may combine two or more years. We won't publish literature that is mediocre just to fill pages.

General Guidelines:

​

Micro-Fiction

​

Submit one published or unpublished micro-fiction piece, a maximum of 500 words OR up to three poems (6 pages maximum, double-spaced.)

 

Please format your submission double-spaced and include a word count (# of pages for poems). In the top of the document, please also add the title and genre. Include a cover sheet in your document with your name, address, and contact information (e-mail) but no identifying information on the story or poem itself.

 

In the cover letter: Confirm that this piece is unpublished or if it has been previously published, please include the information (name of journal or magazine and date of first publication) so we can properly credit the publisher.

 

If you wish, you can submit multiple times in separate submissions.

Simultaneous submissions are allowed, but please notify us if your piece was accepted elsewhere.

If your piece is selected, it will be included in the current, upcoming Anthology by Unlimited Literature. We will promote the authors on our website and Facebook page.
