Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area, a graduate of San Jose State, her poems have been recognized by BAPC, Keats Soul-Making, Ina Coolbrith Circle, Artist Embassy International, the Write Launch, and the literary divisions of the San Mateo County and Marin County Fairs. Louise travels with her cat in a 23-foot motorhome, exploring landscapes that inspire her work. ​
