Grocery Store Dilemma

Grocery Store Dilemma

Should we venture out to the grocery store like brave explorers, exposing ourselves to invisible droplets or viral shedding? Is a mask enough, or should we wear gloves? Is it better to go in the early morning when the shelves are stocked?

Oh, to cast aside fear and push a cart up and down the aisles, inhaling the bakery section aroma, picking out whatever catches our eye along with needed staples. Being in the elderly range, we hear, there is danger with this mysterious virus. It sometimes attacks the lungs, and mine are 71 years old. I’m healthy but had pneumonia a few years ago and was hospitalized for a week. Did that weaken my lungs? Maybe we’ll endure ordering home delivery, even though it means expecting the inevitable substitution of unfamiliar brands as well as many being listed on the bill as out of stock.
