Believe by E. Izabelle Cassandra Alexander

Believe

Believe and trust in your forever—

drinking in strength and power of the supernatural.

Without it, you thirst for moments

that are not meant to be,

while the shadow of death saturates your life,

threatening to overcome and shatter your dreams.

Stealing the gift of your presence you give to others

in the physical, he swoops in and aims to destroy,

but you must resist and defeat him in the spiritual.

Trust, he’ll flee—

Lift your eyes and search the distance—

your future spreads over time into eternity.

Can you see? Your life impacts many,

your words seeping into the cracks of our foundation

to heal, to soothe, to understand.

Recite, "I am a child of God and therefore I do not inherit sickness,"

and imagine vibrant life flowing through your heart,

your mind, body, and hands.

Don’t think of what is, but of what’s to be.

Believe and not only pretend—

Today is better than yesterday,

and tomorrow will reveal your next steps to yield.

The direction in which to fly, soaring high,

to reach your island of peace and find your rest

here, for now,

or in your forever existence of the next realm,

a dimension unseen to us but real.

Yet in whatever path you desire,

remember, you are eternal,

and you are loved—
