I did not intend to make you uncomfortable to take up too much space to impose on your life I did not intend to have days where I only want to sleep to be earning so little I cannot pay the bills to be a failure I do not intend to live like this forever but I do not know how to escape

Erin Jamieson holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Miami University of Ohio. Her writing has been published in over fifty literary magazines, and her fiction has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She currently teaches at the University of Cincinnati-Blue Ash College and also works as a freelance writer.
