“And Then, It was Betty’s Turn To Dance” by Tony Murray

Artist's Commentary

Form Over Function

Melted car battery terminals, Brass, Graphite.

Medium “Sculptography”

(Sculptography is a medium I created and is the combination of sculpture and photography) This piece was a time sensitive creation since the various colors from the car battery terminals began to oxidize almost immediately. It is illustrating both destruction and creation at the same time.

“And Then, It was Betty’s Turn To Dance”

Aluminum, Copper, Green marble. Medium “Sculptography” This work represents the triumph of the awkward and sometimes bullied girl at school.

“Keep Away”

Aluminum, Copper, Glass

Medium “Sculptography” The oldest game invented. I have it, you want it!
